<p>An overhead guide device for moving frames or carriages (16) in particular bearing bobbins of thread (17) or other materials comprises a first portion (1) constrained to and slidable along such guide (3) and a second portion (2) constrained but vertically movable with respect to the first (1) in order to lift and move the transported carriage (16) lying, at rest, on a surface below the guide (3) and to bring it into any position along such guide. The movable portion (2) comprises a frame (60) delimiting an internal space (62) open on the lower part and with opposite lateral flanks (35, 36), the carriage (16) being introduced into the frame (60) from an open end (32) thereof so as to cooperate with internally bent parts (61) of said flanks and be supported by the latter (61) when the movable portion (2) is moved away from the aforesaid surface.</p> |
