PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof member for a joint of a siding material, which prevents infiltration of moisture to a rear side of the siding material and can be efficiently constructed by a dry process, to provide a waterproof structure with the waterproof member, to provide an architectural structure with the waterproof structure, and to provide a waterproof method employing the waterproof member.SOLUTION: A gutter-shaped waterproof member is disposed in such a manner that side walls of the gutter-shaped waterproof member joined to counter portions forming a joint, of adjacent siding materials provided separately from a substrate, respectively, and an undersurface of the gutter-shaped waterproof member abuts on the substrate. The waterproof member is formed by bending an elastic sheet-like object in a gutter shape, and an adhesive is provided on the sidewalls on the sides of the siding materials, of the waterproof member. A width of the undersurface of the waterproof member is wider than a width of the joint between the siding materials, the sidewalls on the side of the substrate, of the waterproof member, are inclined and connected to the undersurface, and the sidewalls of the waterproof member on the side of an open end are inclined towards the siding materials. |
