PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve problems with conventional pressurized oxy-combustion circulating fluidized bed power plants and circulating moving bed power plants.SOLUTION: An external heat exchanger of a boiler in fluid communication with a separator configured such that a portion of solids received in the separator pass through the external heat exchanger and transfer heat to a working fluid, after which the solids are returned to a combustion chamber to adjust combustion temperature in the combustion chamber.
