PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve high reliability by enhancing determination accuracy with respect to the switching of a charge/discharge path or a power path, in protection of a power storage device.SOLUTION: A power storage device 1 includes a lithium ion secondary battery 20, a battery side voltage measurement section 11 and a charge/discharge side voltage measurement section 12 for measuring the potential difference between two arbitrary points of the charge/discharge path of the lithium ion secondary battery 20, a current measurement section 17 for measuring the current in the charge/discharge path of the lithium ion secondary battery 20, a latch relay 30 provided between two points of the charge/discharge path, an opening and closing control section 14 for driving the latch relay 30, and a drive determination section 15 for determining the operation state of the latch relay 30, based on the measurement results of the battery side voltage measurement section 11 and the charge/discharge side voltage measurement section 12 and the control state of at least any one of the current measurement section 17 and the opening and closing control section 14. |
