PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting element and a method of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: The light-emitting element comprises: a substrate on one surface of which a plurality of light-emitting cells are formed, where the light-emitting cells comprise a plurality of semiconductor layers and emit light of prescribed wavelength; a plurality of cut portions formed on the other surface of the substrate at a prescribed depth; and a wavelength conversion layer formed on the other surface of the substrate and the plurality of cut portions, where the wavelength conversion layer converts the wavelength of light emitted from the light-emitting cells. |
