PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening and closing device capable of making a door body move for opening/closing without interference of association means with a connection member, although the door body and the association means associated with the door body are arranged in an immovable member to project toward the side of the connection member connecting the door body and guide means to each other.SOLUTION: A brake 50 as association means associated with a door body 1 is mounted in a suspended part 10B of an upper frame member 10 as an immovable member by a fitting member 54. The door body 1 is suspended from a slide rail 25 as guide means mounted in the upper frame member 10 by a bracket 17 by means of a connection member 20, and the connection member 20 interposed between the slide rail 25 and the door body 1 has an U-like or a substantially U-like shape with a side part 23 as a deviation part. Although the brake 50 projects to the side of the connection member 20 and is arranged in the upper frame member 10, the door body 1 moves for opening/closing without interference of the brake 50 with the connection member 20 because of deviation of the side part 23. |
