INCLINATION DETECTION METHOD AND OPTICAL DISK DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect an inclination of an optical disk by a tap coefficient of a crosstalk cancelling filter to correct the inclination.SOLUTION: An inclination detection method includes first and second filters which are supplied with reproduced signals approximately simultaneously reproduced from at least two first and second adjacent tracks located on both sides of a main track, a synthesis unit which synthesizes output signals of the first and second filters and a reproduced signal reproduced from the main track approximately simultaneously with those from the first and second adjacent tracks to cancel crosstalk, and a coefficient control unit which obtains an error between an output signal of the synthesis unit and a target value and controls coefficients of the first and second filters so as to reduce the error. An inclination of an optical disk is detected by values of preliminarily set tap coefficients of the first and second filters.
