PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spacer for a water jacket which is excellent in thermal insulation performance.SOLUTION: A spacer for a water jacket 10 is disposed in a water jacket 23 of a cylinder block 20 and is made of a porous material having bubbles 17 therein. Since the spacer for the water jacket 10 is made of the porous material having the bubbles 17 therein, the spacer 10 for the water jacket achieves a high heat insulation function even if the spacer 10 is not thickly formed. |
