<p>Induction annealing of metals, such as stainless steel is carried out in a gas atmosphere. Cooling following the induction annealing is performed by impingement of cooling gases. The gases that may be used include hydrogen, nitrogen, argon, helium, water vapor, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons and mixtures thereof.</p> |
