PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overflow device which inhibits a backflow from an overflow port by restraining passed air from being released toward the overflow port. SOLUTION: This overflow device is equipped with a conducting tube portion which makes an intake portion and a drain outlet portion communicate with each other. The conducting tube portion comprises: a vertical pipe portion, the upper end of which is connected to the intake portion and which is suspended in a vertical direction; a corner pipe portion, the one end of which is connected to a lower end of the vertical pipe portion and which has a bent portion; and a horizontal pipe portion, the one end of which is connected to the other end of the corner pipe portion, which is elongated in a horizontal direction, and the other end of which is connected to the drain outlet portion. A hanging wall, which inhibits air accumulated in the horizontal pipe portion from flowing out into the corner pipe portion, is installed in the pipeline of the horizontal pipe portion and in a position away from the other.
