The present invention relates to an automatic edge coating apparatus. The automatic edge coating apparatus includes transfer members spaced apart from each other along a conveyor chain by a predetermined gap; a coating unit including a pair of coating cylinders spaced from a pair of left and right coating cylinders over a middle portion of the conveyor by a predetermined distance; and a rotation guide plate having a guide groove below a middle portion of a coating part. The transfer member includes a moving plate having both sides supported by the chain, a shaft freely rotated by a bearing formed at the center of the moving plate, a link vertically protruding about a shaft protruding toward a low portion of the moving plate, and a roller fixed to the link. The coating cylinders of the coating part are freely rotated by the bearing, respectively and an edge coating solution is supplied to each of the coating cylinders. A plurality of products for performing an edge coating are fixed by a jig and the jig is fixed to a shaft protruding toward an upper portion of the moving plate of the transfer member. While the transfer member moves by the conveyer, both side surfaces of the product is coated by the first coating cylinder. As the shaft is rotated at 90° in a horizontal direction while the roller of the transfer member moves along the guide groove of the rotation guide plate, the jig is rotated with the shaft and both sides of the moving jig are edge-coated by the next coating cylinder, so that the edge coating is uniformly performed and it is possible to perform the edge coating on a large scale. |
