A method for removing an inner casing from a machine comprises a step of removing an upper end unit (3) of an outer casing; a step of removing an upper end unit (6) of an inner casing (5); a step of removing a lower end unit (7) of the inner casing (5); a step of connecting the lower end unit (7) of the inner casing to a rotator (10) to support the lower end unit (7) of the inner casing with rotation (10) before removing the lower end unit (7) of the inner casing; and a step of rotating the rotator (10) for a length direction shaft (11) to approach the lower end unit (7) of the inner casing.
