A means of supporting a vehicle or trailers rear under run bar 4 by way of a mounting bracket 1 arranged between one of the vehicle or trailers longitudinal frame members 6 and a rear under run bar 4. A truss 2 or web 3 is formed between a most forward part of the mounting bracket and a most rearward part of the mounting bracket at a connection between the mounting bracket and the rear under run bar. The truss or web transmits the forces sustained by the rear under run bar to the mounting bracket. |
