The present invention relates to an automatic volume control device to prevent a sudden high-pitched sound from being outputted by changing a channel or a transmission of a commercial broadcast in a device like a TV. The automatic volume control device includes: a sound signal averaging unit which averages an inputted sound signal level for predetermined hours and outputs the sound signal level; a first comparator which compares a positive sound signal level by receiving a current sound signal level in a non-inverting terminal (+) and receiving the output of the sound signal level averaging unit in an inverting terminal (-); a sound signal output level storage unit which stores the sound output signal of a sound system, averages the sound output signal for predetermined hours, and outputs the sound output signal; and a volume control unit which outputs by continuously attenuating a current inputted high sound signal level until the output signal levels the sound signal output level storage unit. |
