<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resistance film type touch panel that reduces distortion of display due to flexural deformation by reducing the amount of flexural deformation of a touch-side substrate. <P>SOLUTION: The touch panel includes: resistance films 13, 14 provided on the inner surfaces of a pair of touch-side and opposite-side substrates 11, 12; a plurality of projection contacts 15 provided at a plurality of positions of one resistance film 13 to protrude at a predetermined height, the projection contacts being brought into contact with the other resistance film 14 by flexural deformation when touched; a plurality of projection spacers 16 provided at a plurality of positions of the one resistance film 13 to protrude at the same height of the projection contacts 15 by use of the same material as the projection contacts 15; and a plurality of spacer receiving insulating layers 19 formed on the other resistance film 14 to have a predetermined thickness for the plurality of projection spacers 16, the spacer receiving insulating layers 19 being brought into contact with tips of the projection spacers 16 to regulate the gap between the pair of substrates 11, 12 to a value larger than the height of the plurality of projection contacts 15 in cooperation with the projection spacers 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
