Solid state dye-sensitized solar cell employing composite polymer electrolyte

A dye-sensitized solar cell, comprising:
(i) a photoelectrode;
(ii) a counter electrode/ and
(iii) an electrolyte sandwiched between the photoelectrode and counter electrode,
wherein, the electrolyte is a composite polymer electrolyte comprising a middle molecular substance having a radius of gyration of 6 - 50 Å having functional groups capable of forming hydrogen bonds or crosslinking bonds at both ends thereof and a redox derivative.
