The present invention relates to an antibacterial composition comprising an Inula britannica flower extract as an active ingredient, wherein the Inula britannica flower extract is extracted with methanol for 24 hours at room temperature. A purpose of the present invention is to provide the antibacterial composition comprising the Inula britannica flower extract having antibacterial activity for methicillin resistant Staphylococcu aureus as an active ingredient.
