PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further increase a power-saving effect of a power-saving state in power supply control for power saving by reducing the quantity of power to be supplied when an apparatus is not in operation. SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with a direct-current power supply circuit 105, a control circuit 106 to switch an operation state of the apparatus to be supplied with power between a working state to supply electric power for driving the apparatus from the direct-current power supply circuit 105 and a power-saving state to supply the electric power lower than the electric power supplied in the working state, a monitoring circuit 104 to monitor whether a restoration factor to shift the operation state from the power-saving state to the working state is generated or not in the power-saving state, an antenna portion 101 to receive a radio wave, and a radio wave generating circuit 102 which generates the electric power from the received radio wave and supplies the generated electric power to the monitoring circuit 104.
