PURPOSE: A plant cultivation apparatus for home use is provided to block the light, which is radiated from the plant cultivation apparatus, from users when needed. CONSTITUTION: A storage unit (10) stores water or a nutrient solution. A lower case (20) includes a seedling unit (21) for planting seedlings, and is installed on the upper side of the storage unit. A water supply unit (30) supplies the water or the nutrient solution to the seedling unit. An upper case (40) is separated from the lower case to a predetermined interval, and located on the upper side of the lower case. A lighting unit (50) includes lighting sources for supplying light to the seedlings. A blocking plate (70) has one end connected to the upper case and the other end connected to the lower case. A cultivator (80) includes the seedling unit for planting the seedlings. A height sensor (85) is installed on the blocking plate for detecting the height of plants on the seedling unit. |
