In a valve device for a scroll compressor according to the present invention, a valve guide is inserted into an outlet, and a valve member is inserted to slide into the valve guide so that the length of the outlet can be reduced, dead volume can be reduced, and as a result, the performance of the compressor can be improved and the inputs of a motor can be reduced. In addition, a valve member according to an embodiment of the present invention is formed into a hollow cylinder so that the weight of the valve member can be reduced, the vibration of the valve member can be reduced, hence the vibrational noise of the valve member can be reduced. Furthermore, a contact area between the valve guide and the valve member, according to an embodiment of the valve member, is reduced so that noise generated when the valve guide touches the valve member can be reduced. |
