The method involves arranging images of a camera (1) on a virtual projection surface for generation of a visual display, where the camera surrounds the vehicle on two sides with space as portion of a virtual three-dimensional room body. A dynamic adaption of the joining of camera images on the projection surface by the mathematical adjustment of another virtual projection surface takes place for attaining an approximate distortion-free vision function of objects, such that the object is formed approximate in the plane of the virtual projection surface. An independent claim is included for an imaging driver assistance system for imaging objects arranged in surrounding areas of land, water vehicles or air crafts, particularly in vehicles. |
