METHOD FOR MEASURING THE SEMANTICS SIMILARITY OF DUPLICATE ELEMENTS IN XML SCHEMA

Disclosed is a method for measuring a semantics similarity of duplicate elements in an XML schema. A semantic similarity measuring method according to an embodiment comprises the steps of: finding duplicate elements in an XML document; calculating a value of the semantics similarity between duplicate elements (SSDE) by using a weighted average of a context similarity indicating a contextual similarity of the duplicate elements and a declaration similarity indicating a formal similarity of the duplicate elements; and determining the similarity between the duplicate elements based on the value of the semantics similarity.
