A lock strike assembly 20 for a door frame comprising a strike plate 22, a packer 40 and a grub screw 50, the strike plate comprising a C-section channel with first and second flanges 28, 26 separated by a web 30 and having a threaded hole through the web in which the grub screw is engageable, the packer having a plain hole for self-tapping by the grub screw and being adapted to fit within the C-section channel of the strike plate, wherein pitch and lateral positioning adjustments of the assembly relative to the door frame are facilitated by the grub screw and a protrusion 60 located on the assembly, which may be a cam, respectively. There may be a visual indicator indicating the degree to which the cam is pivoted. Also claimed is a method of installation. The assembly is suitable for use with UPVC door frames, for example Eurogroove frames, and can be used to compensate for the varying profile of a door frame. |
