<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker effectively removing excess water on the surface of rice. <P>SOLUTION: The rice cooker includes: a heating coil 16 for heating an object to be cooked in a pot 11; a flange heater 18 for warming the object to be cooked in the pot 11; an inner lid 56 for closing the top surface of the pot 11; a pressure regulator 58 provided in the inner lid 56 and regulating the pressure in the pot 11 provided; and a decompression pump 82 for reducing the pressure in the pot 11. The rice cooker has a function of operating the decompression pump 82 to reduce the pressure in the pot 11 while waiting for reserved rice cooking, stopping the decompression pump 82 operated for a certain period, closing the pressure regulator 58 and maintaining the reduced pressure in the pot 11 for a certain period, and then opening the pressure regulator 58, sending outside air into the pot 11, and swinging the water in the pot 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
