<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machining method and a machining device of a cylinder for engine capable of improving a precision (roundness, straightness) of a cylinder bore during actual operation, capable of easily generating a state equivalent to a state of an actual engine by directly pressing a cylinder block by pressing means without using an auxiliary facility such as a dummy head, and advantageous in an aspect of production cost and production workability. <P>SOLUTION: When a cylinder bore 8 provided in a cylinder block 2 of an engine is machined, the cylinder block 2 is pressurized and deformed by directly pressing the cylinder block 2 by pressing means 10, so as to previously generate a deformation state of the cylinder bore 8 by fastening a cylinder head to the cylinder block 2 using a bolt, and the cylinder bore 8 in the deformation state is machined by a honing part 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
