The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for improving the learning effect and memorizing effect of essay question sentences by concealing and revealing keywords in the study of a paragraph consisting of several sentences. The present invention designates the part of a paragraph to be acquainted or memorized as a keyword, initiates a concealing/revealing method specified to a correspondence part which a block unit in which a first method, a second method, a third method and a fourth method respectively divide the whole paragraph into a character unit, a word unit, a sentence unit and the whole paragraph as a block unit and increases the learning and memorizing effect of the paragraph. The specific method of the present invention increases the learning and memorizing effect of a paragraph, enhances the convenience of study and reduces the degree of difficulty for study. Accordingly, the present invention is able to improve learning effects while reducing time required for accomplishing the target amount of study. The present invention provides a recording medium for recording programs performing disclosed functions.
