PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication apparatus and mobile station intended for data transmission to an external device. SOLUTION: The communication apparatus, transmitting parameters used in adaptive modulation control to a transmission device executing the adaptive modulation control, includes a generation section (11) that generates parameters suited to an external device or a connection configuration with the external device, and a transmission section (13) transmitting the generated parameters as parameters used for the adaptive modulation control.
