PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic control device for a vehicle capable of controlling needless consumption of power of a power source driving an oil pump. SOLUTION: The hydraulic control device for a vehicle includes: a power transmission device provided on a route from a power source of a vehicle to a driving wheel; a hydraulic chamber for controlling a power transmission state of the power transmission device; an oil pump driving by the power source; and an accumulator for storing hydraulic pressure of oil discharged from the oil pump. In the device, there is provided accumulation control means (steps S4, S5, S6, S7), in which reference hydraulic pressure, which is lower limit of hydraulic pressure accumulated by the accumulator, is calculated on the basis at least one condition from characteristics of a driver at a vehicle speed or when starting the vehicle or slopes of roads where the vehicle is stopped.
