The present invention relates to a paracoid-type oil pump including: a housing which has a circular concave shape in the center of bottom to accommodate a drive gear and a driven gear; and a suction groove and a discharge groove which are formed in a concave shape on the base of the housing to conduct the suction and discharge of oil. The cross-sectional area of the suction groove increases as the distance from the center of the housing increases. According to the present invention, cavitation can be prevented since the density of the oil flowing in through the suction groove is uniform even though the oil is applied with a centrifugal force, thereby preventing noises and vibrations. |
