The head (1) has a terminal part (14) connected with a mounting thread and arranged at a pole of a joint ball (11). A tripod head housing (12) is arranged in an x-z plane. A switchable blocking device is arranged and switched from a release position into a blocking position. The switchable blocking device is engaged in the locking position and located in an equator of the joint ball. A locking recess is arranged in the joint ball. The blocking device comprises a spring, a locking pin and a form-fitting and/or friction-switching device that are connected with a manual control unit. |
