<p>The carrier (1) has a coupling device (2) attached with a spherical head at a trailer coupling, and comprising a gear assembly that is formed by a lever mechanism and/or cam gear. A clamp (21) is pivoted on the head of the trailer coupling and fixed on the head by tightening the clamp. The pivoting and tightening of the clamp are carried-out by pivoting movement of a lever (10) around a pivot axis, where the lever serves as a control element and simultaneously forms an adjustment region.
