摘要 The present invention relates to a silicon release film having excellent peeling stability over time and its use to be applied to an optical display device process. The silicon release film of the present invention has a structure in which a silicon release layer is formed on a polyester film, and satisfies the followings: the change of the peeling strength after 14 days based on the initial peeling strength (X) is 0.8<= X <= 2.5; and the thickness of the silicon release layer (Y) is 30 nm < Y < 1,200 nm. As for the silicon release film satisfying the above physical properties has a reduction in the unpeeling thereof or the tearing of an adhesive layer even when being kept for a long time due to the storage or transportation after the silicon release layer and the adhesive layer are bonded to each other, thereby decreasing defects in quality. Further, due to excellent external characteristics of the silicon release layer constituting the silicon release film, the confusion such as excessive detection and non-detection of defects that may be generated by the silicon release film at the time of the polarizing plate shipping inspection can be minimized.
