摘要 The present invention relates to an LED cooling device of side and bottom air inflow type and an LED lighting using the same. The LED cooling device comprises an LED lighting mounting unit (20) in which an LED light source unit (10) made of multiple LED elements is mounted on the bottom surface; multiple heat pipes (30) whose one end is thermally in contact with the upper surface of the LED lighting mounting unit (20) and the other end is bent to cross the upper surface of the LED lighting mounting unit (20) at right angles, and which radiate high temperature heat generated in the LED light source unit (10); and multiple heat radiation plates (40) which form a heat pipe hole (41) to correspond to the heat pipe (30), promote heat radiation by being fitted into the outer circumference surface of the heat pipe (30), and are installed to be vertically integrated with the heat pipe (30). The heat radiation plate (40) forms a convection current hole (42) on the center. Multiple internal heat radiation fins (43) and multiple external heat radiation fins (44) are formed on the inner and outer sides of the heat radiation plate (40). The multiple internal and external radiation fins are twisted to cross the upper surface of the LED lighting mounting unit (20) at right angles, thereby forming an upward air channel. Air which flows from the side and bottom passes through the air channel and the convection current hole (42) and easily moves to the upper side, thereby promoting natural convection. According to the LED cooling device of side and bottom air inflow type having excellent heat radiation performance which is suggested by the present invention, the air which flows from the side and bottom passes through the air channel and the convection current hole and easily moves to the upper side. Therefore, the natural convection is promoted and an effect in which heat radiation performance is improved is obtained.
