摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blocking condition inspection method which can detect blocking condition of a catalyst honeycomb layer efficiently and accurately. <P>SOLUTION: The blocking condition inspection method detects the blocking condition of a catalyst honeycomb layer 7a in an NOx removal system 1 which is provided with the catalyst honeycomb layer 7a which removes a nitrogen oxide in a combustion exhaust gas, wherein across the catalyst honeycomb layer 7a, a first speaker 13 and a first mike 15 are disposed on one side, and a second mike 17 is disposed on the other side, the second mike 17 is moved according to a route 29 along a surface of the catalyst honeycomb layer 7a, and based on a sound wave which the first mike 15 receives and a sound wave which the second mike 17 receives, an amount of noise reduction of the sound wave is detected, and the blocking condition of the catalyst honeycomb layer 7a is detected based on the distribution of the amount of noise reduction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
