Disclosed is a photoelectric converter element capable of ensuring that one electrode will be an anode and that another electrode will be a cathode. A protrusion layer (11) is formed in a semiconductor layer (10) of a photoelectric converter element (1). A conductive layer (40) is stacked upon the obverse face of the semiconductor layer (10) so as to make contact with one lateral face of the protrusion layer (11). A first electrode (21) is disposed upon the obverse face of the semiconductor layer (10) so as to make contact with the opposite lateral face of the protrusion layer (11). A second electrode (22) is disposed upon the conductive layer (40). A metallic nano-structure (30), including a plurality of periodic structures (33), is layered upon either the protrusion layer (11) or the conductive layer (40). Each periodic structure (33) further comprises a plurality of first protrusion parts (31), and the spacing of the positioning of the first protrusion parts (31) differs according to the periodic structures (33). |
