Binder composition comprises (A) aliphatic oligocarbonate polyols (5-95 wt.%) with a number-average molecular weight of 200-5000 g/mol and (B) oligoester polyols (95-5 wt.%) with a number-average molecular weight of 200-5000 g/mol. Independent claims are included for: (1) a coating composition comprising a binder composition and a cross linking agent component; (2) a coating obtained from the coating compositions; and (3) a substrate coated with the coating
