A chopping board with an aperture 110 formed through the chopping board to allow waste or food to be removed from the surface of the board. This is raised off the work surface by way of a stand 104, and may employ a tray 200 under the aperture 108,110 to collect the food 204,206. The device may have more than one aperture and in turn have more than one container 200,202 for collection. The aperture on the chopping board may be of an arcuate form and can be positioned at opposite corners of the chopping board to each other. The board may be removable from the stand and the stand can be foldable. The stand can be constructed with two side walls and a centre wall. |
