A condensing dryer comprises a chamber (3) for drying objects, a fan-driven (19) processing air circuit (2) and a heat pump circuit (13,14,15,23) to alternately warm and cool the processing air. There is a secondary fluid circuit (12,20,16,21) between the processing air and heat pump circuits. Preferably the secondary fluid is a liquid at normal temperature and pressure and comprises water or an alcohol and glycol ether. |
