The present invention relates to an apparatus for manufacturing calcium carbonate using slag and carbon dioxide, which manufactures calcium carbonate by neutralizing slag through carbon dioxide. The apparatus for manufacturing calcium carbonate using slag and carbon dioxide comprises: a reaction tank for eluting slag by inputting slag and water; a mixer for facilitating the reaction of the slag and the water via stirring by a cylindrical stirrer installed in the reaction tank and operated by a motor; a slag transport device installed at the lower part of the reaction tank to collect and move the slag discharged after the reaction; a first filter for filtering and removing slag particles contained in an strong alkali aqueous solution generated in the reaction tank; a calcium carbonate generation tank for neutralizing the strong alkali aqueous solution having the slag particles removed therefrom using carbon dioxide while generating calcium carbonate; a carbon dioxide injector for injecting carbon dioxide into the calcium carbonate generation tank; a second filter for recovering the calcium carbonate generated in the calcium carbonate generation tank; a leachate storage tank for temporarily storing water having calcium carbonate removed therefrom and sending the water to the reaction tank to be used again.
