The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition containing a roasted Glycyrrhizae radix extract, and more specifically, to a cosmetic composition which contains an extract obtained by extracting a mixture of medical herbs containing a roasted Glycyrrhizae radix extract as a main ingredient with sweet chrysanthemum water for offering excellent skin whitening and anti-aging effects. The cosmetic composition for skin whitening and anti-aging containing the roasted Glycyrrhizae radix extract contains the roasted Glycyrrhizae radix extract as an effective component. Also, an extraction solvent of roasted Glycyrrhizae radix is sweet chrysanthemum water.
