The present invention relates to a cancer diagnosis marker of a fusion protein containing a platelet-derived growth factor receptor, alpha polypeptide (PDGFRA) and/or a use thereof as a treatment target. The present invention provides: the fusion protein containing the PDGFRA; a composition for diagnosing cancer containing a molecule specifically combining to the fusion protein; a method of providing information for the cancer diagnosis using thereof; a prevention and/or treatment composition for cancer containing an inhibitor of the fusion protein; and a cancer treatment screening method using the fusion protein.
