PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive tandem photoelectric conversion element exhibiting excellent light absorptivity by suppressing reflection of incident light (especially, on the short wavelength side of sunlight spectrum) sufficiently, and having a high power generation performance (power generation amount) even under actual sunlight.SOLUTION: In a tandem photoelectric conversion element having a first photoelectric conversion layer and a second photoelectric conversion layer between a first electrode and a second electrode, and an intermediate electrode between the first photoelectric conversion layer and second photoelectric conversion layer, the first photoelectric conversion layer is composed to contain at least a crystalline silicon semiconductor, the second photoelectric conversion layer is composed of a p-type organic compound semiconductor and an n-type organic compound semiconductor, and the first photoelectric conversion layer and second photoelectric conversion layer are connected in parallel. |
