PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer and a printing system which suppresses stress on a storage area which is a storage destination of a log related to printing.SOLUTION: An MFP100 includes a reception part, an expansion part; a printing part; a determination part; and a transmission part. The reception part receives printing data. The expansion part expands the received printing data to expansion data. The printing part prints an image acquired from the expansion data on a sheet. The determination part determines whether or not data related to printing satisfies a prescribed condition. The transmission part transmits the printing data when the prescribed condition is determined to be satisfied, and the expansion data when the prescribed condition is determined not to be satisfied, respectively to a server 200 which is a storage destination of logs related to printing. |
