PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably detect moving of a subject after a scout image is captured until final image capturing is performed.SOLUTION: A magnetic resonance imaging apparatus includes: an imaging part for capturing two or more sheets of scout images different in normal direction from each other; a storage part for storing the scout images; a display part for displaying the scout images; and an operation part capable of inputting the position and direction for performing final image capturing when an operator inputs a straight line on the scout image displayed by the display means. An imaging control part includes a positional shifting detection part for detecting a shift in a direction of a subject from a first angle to a second angle after the scout images are captured until the final image capturing is performed in the magnetic resonance imaging apparatus adapted to perform final image capturing at the position and in the direction input by means of the operation part. |
