PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency of copy control according to an off-load data transfer function.SOLUTION: In an information processing apparatus 1, a generation unit 3 generates a copy session 4 which transfers data 13 from a transfer source storage region 10 in a transfer source storage device 9 to a transfer destination storage region 12 in a transfer destination storage device 11 by receiving an off-load data transfer instruction. A control unit 7 performs asynchronous execution control 5 of the data transfer of the copy session 4 generated by the generation unit 3, when an overload on the asynchronous execution control 5 executing data transfer asynchronously with respect to the off-load data transfer instruction is not detected. Also, the control unit 7 performs synchronous execution control 6 in which the data transfer of the copy session 4 generated by the generation unit 3 is synchronously executed with respect to the off-load data transfer instruction, when an overload on the asynchronous execution control 5 is detected. |
