PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide shock absorbers capable of suppressing cost rise and reducing rolling during steering.SOLUTION: The shock absorbers 5 comprise: cylinders 10 rotating with front wheels 80 during steering; piston rods whose protrusion amounts from the cylinders 10 vary by moving relatively to the cylinders 10; pistons integrally formed with the piston rods and arranged in the cylinders 10; and high coefficient of friction regions 15 formed on cylinder inner surfaces 11 with a higher coefficient of friction than other portions in the cylinder inner surfaces 11, which while the cylinders 10 are being rotated in a straight-ahead driving state of the front wheels 80, are positioned at portions other than end portions in the cylinder inner surfaces 11 in the vehicle width direction, and while the cylinders 10 are being rotated in a turning state of the front wheels 80, are positioned at end portions in the cylinder inner surfaces 11 in the vehicle width direction. |
