The present invention relates to an electric product. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the electric product comprises a communication unit to receive energy related information from the outside; an input part which commands the input to switch the operation modes of the refrigerator; a control part for receiving the energy related information from the communication unit or the input part; and an energy consumption part to be operated by the control part. The energy related information includes a limited time period. The control part selects a load delay mode or a temporary load reduction mode based on the length of the limited time period. The control part limits the operation of the energy consumption part using a mode selected during the limited time period.
