PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device or the like capable of performing highly reliable total ink consumption.SOLUTION: A printing device comprises: first to n-th (n is integer of 2 or higher) ink tanks 220-1 to 220-n filled with ink stored in ink tanks; first to n-th slots 230-1 to 230-n corresponding to the ink tanks; first to n-th memory units 100-1 to 100-n supplied with the ink packs and fitted into the slots; and a processing part 210 for controlling data reading or writing in the memory units. The processing part 210 updates body side total ink consumption information WD for each ink color based on counted ink consumption, and writes total ink consumption in the storage device 110 of the memory unit 100 corresponding to ink colors based on the body side total ink consumption information each time the increase of the total ink consumption based on the body side total ink consumption exceeds a first threshold. |
