PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information acquiring apparatus and an object detecting apparatus that can accurately align the position of an emitting pupil of a projection optical system and that of an incident pupil of a light receiving optical system with a prescribed position in the direction of light emission to a target area.SOLUTION: An image pickup lens holder 260 holding an aperture 210 and an image pickup lens 220 is provided with a flange part 264 around a cylindrical part 261, and a base fitting part 262, which is a plane perpendicular to a Z axis, is provided on the target area side of the flange part 264. A DOE 140 is so installed directly onto a DOE fitting part 415 formed on a base 400 as to oppose the target area. The image pickup lens holder 260 is so installed from the side reverse to the target area side of the base 400 that the base fitting part 262 comes into contact with a reference face Pb formed on the face reverse to the target area side. |
