PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device capable of performing efficient erroneous loading detection.SOLUTION: A printing device comprises first to n-th (n is integer of 2 or higher) filled with ink stored in an ink pack; first to n-th slots 230-1 to 230-n corresponding to ink tanks; first to n-th memory units 100-1 to 100-n supplied with the ink packs and fitted into slots; and a processing part 210 for controlling data reading or writing in the memory units. The processing part 210 outputs a reading command in which communication ID information has been set to a storage device 110 included in the memory unit 100 fitted in a selected slot 230, determines whether read ink color information and ink color corresponding to the slot match each other, and determines that the memory unit 100 has been erroneously fitted when they do not match each other. |
